In 2026, Afrelib Trust will introduce the Afrelib Challenge — an initiative designed to spark innovation, showcase local practices, and reimagine what sustainable community libraries and learning spaces can be.

From architecture and design to eco facility management, this challenge will invite students and researchers across Africa to share bold ideas that shape the future of learning spaces.
